Three children reading books - Children's Village Bangui, Central African…

The Central African Republic has been shaken by military and political crisis for several decades. The situation has deteriorated the living conditions of the population and has lead to an increase of poverty, unemployment, famine, and other afflictions affecting children at first. Three boys from SOS Hermann Gmeiner School decided to plead for peace, as a factor of integration and prosperity. They call everybody to love each other and to unity.

Georges, (eleven) Peace is justice. Africa needs peace The Central African Republic needs peace, We need peace! Let us stop killing our brothers and sisters if we want peace Let us stop quarrels Let us forget weapons Let us look at people who are living with us without discrimination Then, we will have peace My brothers and sisters, together, we need to cultivate peace
